About Us

lebanonlibraryThe Lebanon Public Library is supported by the people of Lebanon, Illinois and the surrounding area. Library card costs are minimal, and the rewards are great.

Providing books, magazines, newspapers, periodicals, and much more. Our library’s staff are always there to help you find that special item or research a whole new idea. They strive to make sure your time with us is a pleasant and rewarding experience.

6 online workstations provide access to the Internet and all the wonders it provides.  A 7th workstation is  a Davinci Machine for the use of those with visual limitations.  Offline – it contains many items to be explored and amazed for our younger set.  Complete with oversized keyboard, this machine is ready and waiting for your little one to use.

The Lebanon Public Library is overseen by a group of dedicated volunteers on our Library Board.  The board recently purchased a 10,000 + sq ft building on South Fritz for the purpose of library expansion.  More details will be shared in upcoming months.

Our Library Calendar has listings for events we are putting on around the City of Lebanon.

The Community Calendar also includes events for other organizations in the City.
