We are excited to see how much fun kids and parents are having at our Lego Club and have decided to make it a monthly event. The second Saturday of each month from 9 am – 10 am will be our meeting time at the library until we out grow the space. We have Lego and Duplo blocks in many sizes to accommodate children from 2 on up.
Each time we meet there is a different theme which the kids can do or they can just free play with the Legos. Their designs are then displayed for a week near the circulation desk with the child’s first name and age so all can enjoy their creations.
Currently, a parent or care giver must stay with children age 6 and under. Feel free to bring your morning cup of coffee or tea with you while you watch your child. We even have some parents who drop off their children and then go grab a cup of coffee and a danish at the local coffee shop for a while. What a great way to start your Saturday!
