What’s New at the Library

Food for Fines
During the month of June patrons at LPL can participate in our Food for Fines program.  This program allows patrons to donate canned or dry goods in lieu of paying overdue fines. Food for Fines begins June 1st and ends June 30th. One dollar in fines will be waived for each item donated, up to twenty dollars total. This reduction in fees does not apply to lost/stolen items or processing fees for such items.  Donations will be given to the Lebanon Food Pantry.

Summer Reading Program set to run June 1st – August 1st

Visit the Lebanon Library and pick up your summer reading program (SRP) materials.
We have a fun bingo card format for our young readers in preschool-5th grade.  Reading logs for 6th grade to adult is in a bookmark format with an entry tab on the end.  For every four books you read, you can enter your name in our prize drawing.  Many wonderful prizes have been donated from area restaurants and businesses.  Some of these prizes are on display behind the check out counter.  We are especially excited to have been given several free passes to Splash City Water Park in Collinsville.

Story time for children  K-3rd grade will be held from 10 am – 11 am each Tuesday. Stay tuned for fun craft and project days for older kids.
